Advantest Q8326 Optical Wavelength Meter
The Q8326 is an optical wavelength meter capable of high-accuracy and
high-resolution measurement at the central wavelength of the light from
laser diodes (LD) for DWDM. Using a He-Ne laser as the reference wavelength
and the Michelson interference method for measurement, the Q8326 assures
a high-accuracy measurement. The Q8326 even provides a high sampling rate
of 5 times per second, and is suitable for adjustment of oscillation wavelength
from laser diodes for DWDM. Wavelength variation can also be measured
with high resolution and high accuracy using a deviation display function.
Features
- High Resolution
Using the interference method, a maximum resolution of 0.001 nm/100
MHz can be achieved.
- High Accuracy Measurement Available
The use of a He-Ne laser as the reference wavelength enables a high
measurement accuracy of 2 ppm.
- Wide Bandwidth
Short wavelength band (480 to 1000 nm) and long wavelength band (1000
to 1650 nm) is easily switchable for measurement.
- High Speed Sampling
The Q8326 provides a high sampling rate of 5 times/second ; variation
in wavelength due to temperature fluctuation can be detected accurately.
