Agilent Thermocouple Power Meter
Thermocouple based power sensor that replaces the industry standard 848X family with better accuracy and calibration usability.
The N8480 Series thermocouple-based power sensors are updated versions of the widely used Agilent 848x family of power sensors, offering better accuracy and automatic loading of calibration factors from sensor EEPROM into power meter memory. Agilent’s N8480 Series offers best-in-class linearity (< 1 percent), wide frequency range (100 kHz to 50 GHz, model dependent) and broad power range (–35 dBm to +44 dBm, model dependent). For automated testing, the standard N8480 configuration is fully compatible with E-Series sensor SCPI commands while Option CFT adds full SCPI compatibility with legacy 848x Series sensors
“The N8480 Series continues to be the performance leader for applications in communications, electronics manufacturing, aerospace and automotive electronics,” said Ee Huei Sin, vice president and general manager of Agilent’s Basic Instruments Division. “Those same customers can enjoy new levels of capability, convenience and connectivity from the N1913A and N1914A EPM Series power meters.”
