The MS2830A in its simplest form is an RF Spectrum Analyzer with three frequency options. Add Signal Analyzer options to create an instrument with fast measurement speeds and superior RF performance. Add the optional Signal Generator to create a one-box tester for manufacturing, integration, and product test.
Speed – Cut tact time using the 31.25 MHz signal analyzer option to perform ultra-fast in-band measurements including ACP, OBW, channel power, and SEM. The MS2830A exhibits excellent stability – no averaging needed to ensure accuracy when operating in the batch mode using DSP and FFT technology. Equipped with a fast electronic attenuator up to 6 GHz to ensure fast switching and long service life.
Smart – The MS2830A has best-of-class RF performance including a low displayed average noise level (DANL) without the use of a pre-amplifier and a total level accuracy superior to all competitors. We achieve this level accuracy with our patented calibration techniques. The level accuracy and dynamic range ensure the margins needed to make accurate measurements and improve yields on the factory floor. The MS2830A includes features normally seen only on top-of-the-line analyzers such as a 12 carrier ACLR, six segment limit lines, a 20 segment spurious emission mask, and a robust Spectrogram function that can capture the entire 31.25 MHz bandwidth.
Scalable – Buy only what you need, when you need it! This box expands to meet growing test needs. Choose from two analysis bandwidth options (10 and 31.25 MHz) and two Signal Generator frequency options (3.6 and 6 GHz). Anritsu is the only test equipment maker to offer a Signal Generator option built into our Spectrum Analyzers and Signal Analyzers. A complete line of standards-based application software that includes all 3GPP standards including EDGE evolution, HSPA+, and FDD and TDD LTE is available. Analyze CDMA 2000 Downlink signals, mobile WiMAX signals, and many others.
Economy – This box offers the best cost/performance ratio on the market. The base model is $15K. Add only the options that you need. Add the Signal Generator option and save about 30% over the cost of a separate Signal Analyzer and Signal Generator. With the Signal Analyzer option, get access to a fully functional digitizer that saves I/Q data for replay, resampling, and reanalysis. This instrument is a fully-functional Microsoft XP computer. Add post-processing tools for ease of use, put the device on your network and operate remotely using Microsoft’s Remote Desktop, and use IQproducer™ to create waveforms ready to use right on the box.
