FP-3 SINGLE FIBER SLEEVE
The FP-3 Splice Protection Sleeve series offers a simple, convenient, and highly reliable way to protect and reinforce spliced optical fibers. The magnetic FP-3M and the non-magnetic FP-3 Splice Protection Sleeves have a three part design. A hot melt type adhesive inner tube and a reinforcement member are enclosed in a cross linked polyethylene heat shrinkable outer tube. This design ensures consistent and reliable protection of spliced optical fiber. The FP-3 sleeves are available in 34mm, 40mm and 60mm length versions, and the FP-3M sleeves are available in 60mm lengths.

FP-5 MASS SLEEVE
To reinforce mass spliced fibers, the FP-5 Splice Protection Sleeve is used in conjunction with the tube heater of any of Fujikura's mass fusion splicers. The FP-5, which can protect up to twelve spliced optical fibers, has a three-part design. A hot melt type adhesive inner tube and a reinforced member are enclosed in a polyethylene heat shrinkable outer tube. This design ensures consistent and reliable protection of spliced optical fibers.
