DB-2900 Series Variable Attenuators provide a calibrated
attenuation across a fiber for fiber optic system installation and setup.
DB-2900 Series Variable Attenuators are rugged field units capable of
producing calibrated attenuation across a fiber for fiber optic system
installation and setup. The DB-2900 series combine the best features for
easy to use, low reflectance, and low insertion loss testing enabling
consistent results. The units incorporate an innovative, patented design
that provides excellent linearity to simulate a variety of test conditions.
Applications include bit error rate testing, optical loss margin in fiber
systems, optical power meter/test set calibration, simulation of system
loss and optical component testing, and DWDM system set up.
