Hand-Held LCD patch-panel microscope kit

The FS-PP patch panel microscope kit is a portable, video microscope used to inspect fiber optic terminations. More specifically, the FS-PP is used to inspect installed connectors that are located inside hardware devices (routers, transceivers, etc.) or on the "back-side" of patch panels.

The video inspection probe is a small, lightweight probe measuring 4.5" long. It contains a coaxial LED light source, 1/3" CCD video camera, and a small focusing mechanism. The probe accepts several connector specific tips, which mate with the female bulkhead or mating connector. The lightweight probe holds itself in place for hands free operation.

In addition to being compatible with standard connectors (i.e. ST, SC, and FC), the design includes precision optics and lighting, which have been optimized for inspecting small form-factor connectors, including 1.25 mm (LC) connectors.

The FSPP Kit includes: a video inspection probe, hand-held LCD display, rechargeable NiMH battery pack, battery charger, AC power adapter (115V and 220V AC), universal and connector-specific adapters, and a hard-sided carrying case.
