Pros: I can't say enough good things about the 34401A. For years it has been the meter to beat in performance and price. There has been a lot of copycats out there but none have come close to the stability and durabilty of the 34401A. The mulitfunction of DCV, ACV, OHMS(2 and 4 wire) DCI,ACI and frequency have made it the top notch meter in the industry for years.
Cons: NA
Other: This meter can be calibrated using a Fluke 5520A that you probably have in your lab so there is no need for sending it out saving you down time and costs. Others have tried to copy this meter and failed. To this day it is still the best portable meter with the ease of use and a price tag that is easy to stand.
