How to do a messy bun?

Messy bun is a beaten bob, tangled carelessly with a hair band. This careless hairdo is one of the most fashionable hairstyles – nonchalant and at the same time very comfortable. How to do a messy bun?

What is a messy bun?

Messy bun is a hairstyle that until recently women wore only at home. But now the messy bun goes out into the streets! This hairstyle suits every style and type of hair. It doesn’t matter if your hair is thin or thick, straight or curly – a beaten bun always looks great. The messy bun can be tied to the top, middle or side of the head. Most importantly, it won’t take more than a few minutes to complete.

This type of hairstyle always starts by matting the hair and giving it a texture so that the bun stays better and the strands do not slip from the elastic band and hairpins. I do not like sticky varnishes, so for this purpose I always use dry Batiste shampoo, Which I spray at the roots and length, and then comb it thoroughly to get rid of the white coating.

Then we catch the hair in one motion into a ponytail, but it is very important not to comb them at the root – they are to be caught just anyhow. We pull only half of the hair through the elastic, creating a loop around which we tie an elastic.

The longer the hair, the longer the hanging ends under the loop, but you should not worry about them, because in later steps they will be tied up. In this step, it is also worth slightly expanding the “bun” as the pony improves, giving it volume.

In the third step, we catch the resulting loop from above and below and stretch it, pinning both parts with hair pins at the root. We wrap the hanging ends around the coca and also attach it. If they are shorter and you want to get an even more careless effect, you can leave them, but I personally prefer to attach them.

Here very gently expand the resulting bun very slightly stretching it and gently pulling out slightly thicker strands by loosening them so that the bun is larger and more effective. It is important not to do it symmetrically, but again – anyhow. Do the same with the hair at the root, putting your fingers over your ears and loosening strands. I always pull a few more strands out of the bangs.

A careless bun will blend well with the earrings in the form of feathers – the whole will give the impression of lightness and disorder.
